Hello, I'm Maz 

I bring 12 years of experience in strategy and communications. I am a GRI certified sustainability professional with a passion for crafting creative content that inspires conscious action.

 

I have extensive experience communicating issues of complexity, such as ocean conservation, climate change and human rights in the Middle East. I have worked with organisations such as the World Economic Forum, UN, Sea Shepherd, Institute for Sustainable Development and the NHS, helping them to narrate stories, grow their audience, increase fundraising potential and accelerate impact. 

 

In addition to running Matcha, I am an Adjunct Professor teaching Campaigning for Social Impact at Middlesex University Dubai and General Secretary of Azraq, a marine NGO. On my platform @thatclimatechick, I inspire conscious consumerism through lifestyle and sustainability hacks.

 

I studied Anthropology and Law at the London School of Economics and Political Economy at King's College London.
